About this product
Lady Liberty in Miniature: Credit Suisse's 1 Gram Gold Bar
This 1 gram Credit Suisse gold bar is a single gram of .9999 fine gold sealed in an assay card, from a special Credit Suisse line made for the U.S. market. Its back carries a close engraving of the Statue of Liberty, which sets it apart from the bank's standard logo bars. One gram is roughly 1/31 of a troy ounce, so this is a very small, easy-to-store piece of branded gold.
A Swiss Bank's Tribute to Lady Liberty
Credit Suisse, a Swiss bank that also produced bullion bars, created this series with American buyers in mind. The back shows Lady Liberty facing straight ahead, with the word LIBERTY, the label MINI-GRAM, a 1985 copyright mark and an MTB oval. The front carries the Credit Suisse logo, 1 g, FINE GOLD, 999,9, an assayer's signature and the bar's own serial number. The statue itself, a gift from France, has stood in New York since 1886.

Why Gram Bar Premiums Need a Closer Look
On a one-gram bar, the premium over spot makes up a large share of the total price, so dealer differences stand out. Bullion Hunters shows each dealer's published price, quantity tiers and any posted buyback price. Compare this with other 1 gram gold bar options or browse the wider range of gram gold bars.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is printed on the back of the Credit Suisse Statue of Liberty 1 gram bar?
The back shows a front-facing engraving of the Statue of Liberty with the word LIBERTY, the MINI-GRAM label, a 1985 copyright mark and an MTB oval. The front has the Credit Suisse logo, weight, purity and serial number.
Why does a 1 gram gold bar cost more per gram than a larger bar?
Making, packaging and handling a tiny bar costs nearly as much as a larger one, so the premium above the spot price is spread over less gold. Premiums also differ by dealer and quantity, which is why comparing published prices helps.
