It recreates George T. Morgan's silver dollar design on a larger, heavier canvas. High relief means the design rises higher from the surface for a more sculpted look. Morgan's 1878 Dollar, Reimagined as a Round

George T. Morgan, an engraver at the U.S. Mint, designed the silver dollar introduced in 1878. Its obverse shows Liberty in a Phrygian cap trimmed with wheat and cotton, and its reverse shows an eagle holding arrows and an olive branch. The Morgan dollar became one of the most widely collected U.S. coins. This round carries a Morgan-style Liberty profile and an eagle reverse inscribed TWO TROY OZ, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and IN GOD WE TRUST.
