The Queen's Virtues series is inspired by the allegorical display of the Queen's six virtues featured on the Victoria Memorial outside Buckingham Palace. The Winged Angel of Victory is depicted at the top of the monument, with statues representing Courage and Constancy at her feet. The remaining virtues of Justice, Truth, and Charity stand around the base of the monument. The first coin in this series celebrates "Victory," symbolizing the achievement of mastery and triumph over one's enemies. Victory also signifies the end of conflict and the celebration of peace. As the Sovereign, the Queen is the only person authorized to declare war, as she holds the position of Head of the Armed Forces. The obverse of the coin features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by British sculptor Raphael Maklouf.
Surrounding the Queen's image are inscriptions of her name, the country of issue, denomination, year of mintage, and the coin's weight and purity. The background showcases an East India Company geometric pattern. On the reverse side, you'll find Winged Victory, inspired by the statue on the Victoria Memorial. Designed by Dutch artist Elles Kloosterman, Victory faces left and holds a victor's palm in her left hand. The palm branch, originating from the ancient Middle East, symbolizes victory, success, and peace. Victory is also depicted stretching out her right arm in triumph. The field is filled with a background of shapes similar to the obverse, and the phrase "Victory Through Harmony" borders the left and top side of the coin.
