2024 Peace Dollar PCGS MS 70: A Perfect Grade With a Special Label
A 2024 Peace dollar PCGS MS 70 sits at the top of the grading scale, with no imperfections visible under 5x magnification. This coin contains .859 troy ounces of .999 fine silver, was struck at Philadelphia with no mintmark, and comes from a limited mintage of 275,000. PCGS, a third-party grading service, sealed it in a holder with a First Strike designation and a special Peace label.
The Peace Dollar's Story, From 1921 to Today
The Peace Dollar was first minted in 1921 to mark the end of World War I. Its designer, Anthony de Francisci, placed Lady Liberty on the obverse and a bald eagle perched on a rock, clutching an olive branch, on the reverse. The original series ran until 1935. After a long pause, the U.S. Mint revived the design in 2021, and this 2024 issue continues that modern run.

Weighing Graded Coin Premiums
A perfect grade adds to the price, so the premium over spot on this coin is higher than on an ungraded version. Bullion Hunters lines up each dealer's published price so you can see how wide that gap runs. Compare it with other peace dollar listings, or explore more U.S. silver coins.
