2025 US Mint 1 oz DC Comics Batman Silver Medal

The 2025 U.S. Mint Batman Silver Medal pays homage to the legendary Dark Knight, one of DC Comics’ most enduring heroes. Struck from 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver, this release showcases meticulous craftsmanship and artistry, making it a standout for both bullion collectors and superhero fans.

Since his debut in 1939, Batman has stood as a global symbol of justice, intelligence, and perseverance. From the streets of Gotham to the forefront of modern pop culture, his presence continues to inspire audiences worldwide. This silver medal captures that legacy, uniting the prestige of the U.S. Mint with the cultural weight of an icon who has defined generations of storytelling.

Batman’s release follows the earlier Superman and Wonder Woman issues, which marked the beginning of the U.S. Mint’s groundbreaking Comic Art Coin and Medal Program. These pieces celebrate not just individual characters but also the shared legacy of DC Comics’ greatest heroes. As part of the program’s long-term vision, the Mint has already announced the next six characters to join the lineup: Green Lantern™, Robin™, and Supergirl™ in 2026, followed by The Flash™, Batgirl™, and Aquaman™ in 2027. This makes the Batman medal part of a growing collectible universe that connects numismatics with pop culture history
