Roosevelt Dimes 90% Silver Roll: 50 Coins, $5 Face Value

A Roosevelt dimes 90% silver roll offers fifty small, familiar pieces of U.S. silver in one tidy package. This $5 face value roll holds circulated dimes minted from 1946 to 1964, when Roosevelt dimes were struck in 90% silver. Each coin contains about 0.0715 troy ounces of silver, or roughly 3.575 troy ounces per roll, with dates and mintmarks chosen at random.

John Sinnock's Tribute to Roosevelt

The Roosevelt Dime honors President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who founded the organization that became the March of Dimes. Designed by John R. Sinnock, the obverse shows Roosevelt's left-facing portrait. The reverse features an olive branch, a torch, and an oak branch. Coins in a roll may come from Philadelphia, Denver (D), or San Francisco (S), and because they circulated, wear levels can differ from dime to dime.
