PAMP's design pictures Fortuna, the Roman goddess of luck and fortune who was also regarded as a protector of grain supplies. Her blindfold stands for the unpredictability of life, and the cornucopia in her hands overflows with plenty. The reverse shows the PAMP Suisse logo, the purity and weight marks, and the engraved Essayeur Fondeur inscription that attests to authenticity.
