About this product
The 1 Oklahoma Goldback is a beautifully crafted 24K gold foil note that blends fine artistry, state history, and real intrinsic value. Containing 1/1000 troy oz of .9999 fine gold, it honors the Latin virtue Perseverantia (perseverance) and commemorates Oklahoma’s enduring spirit, most notably reflected in the historic Land Run of 1889.
This Oklahoma release centers on a pioneering woman on horseback, holding a land stake embroidered with Perseverantia. Her saddle bears the phrase The Sooner State, a nod to Oklahoma’s identity. Behind her, riders and wagons race across the plains, while the state bird—the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher—glides above wildflowers like Purple Coneflowers and Blue Wild Indigos. At the bottom, the inscription “I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” reinforces the theme of resilience.
