About this product
Britannia and Liberty on a 10 oz Bar of .9999 Silver
Ten troy ounces of .9999 fine silver, about 311 grams, make up the 10 oz Britannia and Liberty silver bar, supplied new from the Royal Mint. It carries the same joint Britannia and Liberty design as the 1 oz version, with a larger surface that gives the artwork more room. The design was created in collaboration with the United States Mint.
Two Symbols, Two Mints
Over the centuries Britannia came to represent Britain's strength and its command of the seas, while Liberty emerged from the American Revolution as an emblem of freedom and individual rights. Gordon Summers and Joseph Menna combined the two figures in a single design for this collaboration between the Royal Mint and the United States Mint. The reverse shows the Royal Mint shield logo with 10 OZ, 999.9 and FINE SILVER.

Per-Ounce Value on a 10 oz Design Bar
A 10 oz bar spreads its production cost over more silver, so the premium per ounce is often lower than on the 1 oz size. This design bar may still carry a higher premium than a generic 10 oz silver bar, depending on the dealer. Compare published offers and buyback prices here, or browse all silver bars.
