About this product
Celebrating 200 Years With an Uncirculated 40% Silver Bicentennial Trio
The 1976-S bicentennial silver 3-coin set contains an uncirculated Washington quarter, Kennedy half dollar and Eisenhower dollar, each struck in 40% silver (.400 fine) at the San Francisco Mint. The set arrives in the U.S. Mint's red envelope with a certificate of authenticity, and together the three coins hold about 0.54 troy oz of silver. Because these sets are decades old, the envelope may show some wear.
Bicentennial Designs on Three Denominations
To mark the 200th anniversary of the United States, the U.S. Mint gave three denominations special reverse designs. The quarter shows a colonial drummer boy, the half dollar shows Independence Hall, and the Eisenhower dollar shows the Liberty Bell superimposed over the moon. These 40% silver versions from San Francisco were issued in collector packaging. Uncirculated means the coins never entered circulation and show no wear from use.
