2 Oklahoma Goldback 1/500 oz 24K Gold Foil Aurum Note

The 2 Oklahoma Goldback is a stunning piece of spendable gold currency, containing 1/500 troy oz of 24k gold seamlessly embedded into a durable polymer surface. Issued as part of Goldback Inc.’s Alpha Series, this note blends Oklahoma-inspired artistry with precision minting and advanced anti-counterfeiting features. It serves equally well as a functional medium for barter, a collectible celebrating Oklahoma’s rich heritage, or a way to build fractional gold holdings.

This denomination showcases the virtue Benevolentia (Kindness), inspired by the traditions and values of Oklahoma’s Indigenous women. At its center, a Cherokee mother in a traditional tear dress carries a woven basket filled with the land’s bounty. In the background, another mother tends the harvest with a child in a papoose, reflecting the passing of wisdom through generations.

The Eastern Redbud—Oklahoma’s state tree—arches over the scene, while the Illinois River flows peacefully behind. Dugout canoes, an Asi house, and faint footprints in the soil nod to Oklahoma’s tribal heritage and the resilience of those who endured the Trail of Tears. A rainbow overhead offers a message of hope and renewal. Created in collaboration with cultural advisors and artists from several tribes, the artwork captures Benevolentia as a way of life, underscored by the inscription: “The greatest strength is gentleness.”
