A 2024 Bullion Eagle Certified With Its Release Day Designation
The 2024 Silver Eagle PCGS MS 70 FDOI is a Brilliant Uncirculated American Eagle containing one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, graded Mint State 70 First Day of Issue and housed in a PCGS holder with a flag label. Unlike the (W) versions, its name and grade line carry no West Point attribution, which is the main difference from the West Point flag label coin.
Weinman's Walking Liberty on a Modern Eagle
Adolph A. Weinman's Walking Liberty design shows Liberty striding toward the sun with the flag over her shoulders and oak and laurel branches in her arm. The reverse, by Emily Damstra, shows a bald eagle swooping down with oak branches in its talons, the design introduced for the 35th anniversary of the Gold and Silver Eagles. First Day of Issue ties the coin to its official release day, and Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) describes a bullion coin with a clean, unworn mint finish.
