Vienna's Orchestra in Platinum: The 2026 Philharmonic Coin
The 2026 1 oz platinum Philharmonic is an Austrian Mint coin struck from one troy ounce of .9995 fine platinum, issued in Brilliant Uncirculated condition with a 100 euro face value. It carries the same orchestral design as the gold and silver Philharmonics, rendered here in platinum. Single coins come in a plastic flip.
Organ Pipes and Orchestra Instruments
The coin honors the Vienna Philharmonic, or Wiener Philharmoniker, founded in 1842 and based at Vienna's Musikverein concert hall. One side shows the Great Organ in the Musikverein's Golden Hall with REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH, 2026, 100 EURO and the weight and purity in German. The other side gathers instruments of the orchestra, among them a cello and four violins, beneath the words WIENER PHILHARMONIKER.
