Discover the beauty and value of the 2021 30 gram Chinese Silver Panda Coin. This highly collectible coin is part of the beloved Chinese Panda series and is produced by the People's Bank of China. With a face value of 10 Yuan, this coin is backed by the Chinese government and contains .999 fine silver. Weighing 30 grams, this coin is a valuable addition to any silver portfolio. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own this stunning Panda coin.

The Chinese Panda Coin Program began in 1982 with the introduction of the Gold Panda Coin. The Silver Pandas were first released in 1983, but only in Proof condition. It wasn't until 1989 that Brilliant Uncirculated Silver Panda Coins were made available. In 2016, the weight of the Gold and Silver Panda coins was changed to 30 grams instead of the previous 1 troy ounce. The 5 troy ounce coins were also reduced to 150 grams. This change coincided with the reclassification of Giant Pandas from "endangered" to "vulnerable" by the IUCN, bringing relief to Panda-lovers worldwide. The Chinese Silver Panda coins have been issued in various versions, including uncirculated, proof, colored, and privy marked renditions.

The obverse of the coin features the Temple of Heaven, a complex of religious buildings located in Beijing, China. The Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests, where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties prayed for a good harvest, is prominently displayed.

The reverse design of the 2021 Silver Panda coin showcases an adorable panda cub climbing a tree while its mother watches attentively. This design changes every year, except for 2001 and 2002 when the design remained the same. The denomination, weight, and purity of the coin are also inscribed on the reverse.
